By midday, you will arrive in the misty hills of Neliyampathy to check into your accommodation and settle in.The afternoon is dedicated to exploring the area’s natural beauty, starting with the breathtaking vistas at Kesavan Para Viewpoint and followed by a visit to the impressive Pothundi Dam. As evening approaches, you can simply unwind at your stay, soaking in the serene mountain atmosphere. To conclude your first day, enjoy a quiet dinner featuring authentic local Kerala cuisine, served either at your accommodation or a nearby restaurant.

DAY 2
Full Day in Neliyampathy
Your second day begins with a relaxing breakfast at your stay, fueling up for a morning spent exploring the heights of the Nelliyampathy Hills. You’ll head to the iconic Seetharkundu Viewpoint, famous for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic views of the valley below. In the afternoon, the exploration continues with a deeper dive into nature; you can choose to venture into the Nelliyampathy Forest or enjoy a leisurely nature walk through the surrounding spice and tea plantations. As the day winds down, the evening is yours to enjoy at your accommodation, where you can soak in the mountain tranquility or take one last quiet stroll through the cool, misty landscape.

Day 3
Neliyampathy to Silent Valley and Departure
On Day 3, begin with an early breakfast in Nelliyampathy and depart around 6 AM for Silent Valley National Park, a scenic 3-hour drive of roughly 100 km. By mid-morning, arrive at the park, renowned for its untouched rainforest, rich biodiversity, and serene atmosphere. Spend some time exploring the area through a permitted short trek or guided visit, keeping in mind that access is restricted to protect its ecosystem, so it’s best to follow official guidelines or arrange a local guide. By early afternoon, begin your return journey toward Thiruvananthapuram, allowing enough time for the long drive. You can expect to reach by late evening, depending on traffic and how long you spend at Silent Valley, wrapping up your trip with a peaceful yet adventurous final day.
