  • Gavi to Thekkady
  • On Day 2, begin your morning in Gavi with an early breakfast, followed by an eco-tour or wildlife safari through its dense forests, शांत lakes, and rich natural landscapes. You can also opt for activities like boating or a short guided trek to experience the region up close. After lunch, check out and proceed on a scenic 2–3 hour drive to Thekkady. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel or resort and relax. In the evening, head to Periyar Lake within Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary for a peaceful boat ride, where you may spot elephants, bison, and other wildlife along the banks. Later, you have the option to enjoy a traditional Kathakali or Kalaripayattu performance, ending the day with an overnight stay in Thekkady.

  • Explore Thekkady and Return to Thrissur
  • On Day 3, start your morning in Thekkady with breakfast, followed by a guided nature walk inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve, where you can experience the region’s rich flora and fauna up close. Later, visit a local spice garden to learn about Kerala’s famous spice cultivation and even purchase fresh, aromatic spices. After lunch, you can explore nearby attractions such as Chellarkovil Waterfalls or the scenic tea plantations of Vandanmedu, depending on your time. In the afternoon, begin your return journey to Thrissur, which takes approximately 3–4 hours, and arrive by evening for drop-off at your preferred location, marking the end of a refreshing and nature-filled trip.
